Steam rooms are made of water proof materials (tile, cement, marble etc)  the room has to be well sealed to prevent the steam from escaping and to prevent moisture damage to the surrounding structure. 

Can be classified into two types, readymade which are made of acrylic or MPC (a high impact resistant material) and can withstand high temperature from 80c over 120 hours, keeping its original appearance without distortion or craking. And custom made which are erected according to the actual site measurements without restrictions in size and shape.
